Thanks to the resilience and steady spirit that has shaped the Memphis TLGBQ+ community for half a century, the Memphis Pride Parade returns to Beale Street on Saturday, June 21, stepping off at 12:00 PM.
A new date and location for the 2025 Pride Festival has also been announced. See Details
This parade stands on the shoulders of those who’ve marched before us—and walks forward with the strength of those marching now. This march gathers people who lead, create, protect, teach, and care. Organizers, artists, small business owners, healthcare workers, educators, and neighbors—each moving with intention, each adding their voice to the collective rhythm of the day.
Guiding the day are Kym Clark and Justin Allen Tate, two voices who’ve long spoken with humor, heart, and deeply shared affection with the Memphis TLGBQ+ community. Hosting from the Parade Stage, they’ll help shape a space where every step carries meaning.
The Founders Flag, named for Gary Wilkerson, who helped lay the foundation for Mid-South Pride, will close the parade and will be carried by current and former Mid-South Pride board members, as well as members of our Super Squad-people who step up and volunteer and help out in the planning or captain certain tasks or initatives. As the official flag of Memphis Pride, The Founders Flag carries years of care, labor, and stewardship passed down. It is a living thread, held by those who’ve guided Pride through storms and setbacks, walking in step with those who came before, keeping the purpose clear and the legacy intact.
We come together not to escape the weight of this moment, but to meet it. This parade reflects who we are and how we continue to show up, even when the weather shifts and the world feels uncertain.
Beale Street is ready. Memphis is ready. This is how we rise—together.
Parade registration is open—and this is your chance to be part of something meaningful. Whether you’re walking with a group, rolling out a float, or bringing your own energy to the route, we want you there. Space is limited, so reserve your spot now.
If you signed up before the weather delay, you’re still in. Please confirm your entry to help us stay organized and make sure your group is ready to roll on June 21 at 11:00 AM
