The Memphis Pride Parade Rolls Again!
Thanks to the undeniable resilience and spirit that has defined the Memphis TLGBQ+ community for a half-century, the Mid-South Pride Parade returns to Beale Street on Saturday, June 21, stepping off at 12:00 PM.
Hosting from the Parade Stage are Kym Clarke and Justin Allen Tate, two of Memphis’ most trusted and recognizable voices. Their presence brings humor, heart, and meaning to one of the city’s most beloved civic events.
This year’s parade will feature a wide range of participants – human rights and advocacy groups, community leaders, local businesses, school groups, healthcare professionals, faith communities, city and county leaders, and more—each adding their voice and visibility to the milestone celebration.
As part of this year’s procession, the **Founders Flag (**will be carried by current and former Mid-South Pride board members, a symbol of continuity, care, and the people who’ve kept Pride alive in Memphis through decades of change.
As part of this year’s procession, the Founders Flag {Named in honor of Mid-South Pride founder Gary Wilkerson) will be carried in solidarity by current and former board members —a symbol of continuity, care, and the stewardship that has sustained Pride in Memphis across generations.
Entries will compete for awards as usual, with judging by Scotty James, Piper Dandy, Ray Rico, Krista Wright Thayer, and John D Smith.
This is an open invitation to walk, support, or witness Pride in its purest form—live, public, and rooted in community.
